NEW…stuff coming soon!

There was just too much to mention in the title. New menus, items and website are just a few of the changes you’ll see very shortly as we get into the Fall season. I could go on describing each of these but I’ll wait until we get a bit closer to launching each thing so I can expand for you.

Have a good rest of August! I’ll be back posting on the new site in a week or two.

Thanks for stopping by!!

WAMBO is HERE!!

Quick WAMBO Update
Friday August 10th, 2012

The sound of trucks idling and chugging around in downtown has
been a constant for the last 24 hours. Food deliveries, garbage
pick-up, street cleaning. Yep – we’re ready for WAMBO.
I just looked up the weather report for the weekend and it’s
not looking too promising – cloudy with showers seems to be the
norm, which is too reminiscent of a WAMBO weekend just a few
short years ago which was deemed a ‘wash-out’.

BUT, we’re going to hope for the best.

We’re stocked up and ready to go…there’s still lots of prep
to do and loose ends to tie up but we’re right on track for a
great weekend, regardless of the weather.

Tonight – Friday, we’ll be featuring Stuffed Green Peppers,
Yellow Lake Perch and more!! Come kick off the weekend in
Wallaceburg’s Oldest Restaurant.

Talk to you Monday and hope to SEE you sooner!

Come celebrate Fiesta’s Summer Fun Days during the last week of July!
We’ll have daily specials geared toward our fresher side Tuesday through Sunday.

We’ve got our Mangoberry Salad and many others, Veggie wrap, kale chips
(as a side), some organic veggies and our fresh fruit platter. We’ll be
unleashing a cool soup AND a secret salad of the week.

Specials of the day will be posted at each table throughout the week for your convenience.

CA5 a Success

AHHHHH!!!!! I think our Community After 5 event was a HUGE success! Thanks to the Chamber and the committee as well as all the attendees. The Rock was here to emcee. Special thanks to Emily Meko (EatWhatsGood.com) and my team for putting out a great spread of Fresh and Local Foods. I’m proud to say we featured local organic fruits, vegetables and herbs creating vegan, raw and gluten-free dishes that EVERYONE seemed to enjoy and be interested in.

About half an hour after everyone had left I said to my friend while chuckling: Do you realize that I just held a Chamber/community event that consisted of no meat or fried foods? Ha…and had a vegan/gluten-free chef right at the front door. I can’t believe that just happened!

Anyway – Thanks again to everyone. I’m glad you enjoyed the experience of eating something different and, I can tell you, was purely nourishing to your system.

Fiesta will be hosting another evening featuring some of the healthiest food you’ve probably ever eaten! This evening will consist of food samples, a discussion/talk/round table about food, networking opportunities and possibly the viewing of a film. There will be a small cover charge like the CA5 event.
